Our mission
The Pegasus Film Festival is dedicated to helping support aspiring filmmakers by providing resources, education, connections, and a platform for young artists to share their work.
Hanna Le
Director
Hanna Le is a 12th-grade homeschooler. She is a filmmaker, writer, actress, artist, and YouTube Partner content creator. She also works as a freelance cinematographer & videographer and designs graphics and websites on the side. She is very excited to be the Director for this year’s festival after being the Social Media Manager last year. Hanna is honored to work with this amazing team and bring her vision to PFF 2023!

Bre Jackson
Producer
Bre Jackson is a 10th grade high school student. She enjoys acting, writing, filmmaking, and video games! She loves working with others who are passionate about what they do. Working with Pegasus is a huge honor and learning experience. She is so excited to be this year’s producer!

Aaron Castellanos
Lead videographeR + Photographer
Hey what’s up! My name is Aaron Castellanos. I’m a senior at Lake Ridge High School. My passion is sharing human stories through all forms of media. My goal is to share these stories as films and photographs. I spend a lot of time working on not only filmmaking but photography as well. In school I'm the sports section leader for yearbook and head of the photojournalism team for Texas Youth and Government. Outside of school I hold a production internship with the MISD Athletic Department and work as a digital worship technician at First Methodist of Mansfield. Along with working on my own short films and larger films within my area. I love storytelling and especially movies and can’t wait to share them with you.
Mayra
Estrada
Assistant Director
Mayra Estrada is a senior at Kingdom Collegiate Academies and the assistant director of Pegasus film festival. Her skills include stop-motion animation, photography, writing, design, and directing. She is constantly looking to learn new things and gain experience in filmmaking.
Daisy
Sanchez
Social Media Manager
Daisy Sanchez is a Senior at Townview Health and is this year's social media coordinator. She's extremely interested in the advertising aspect of filmmaking, photography, and film production. Outside of film, she's interested in studying Neuroscience and attending concerts. Daisy is stoked to make sure the 2023 festival is the best one yet alongside the rest of the team!
Norma Altamirano
Assistant Photographer
Norma Altamirano is a Junior at New Tech High School at B.F Darrell and this year’s assistant photographer/videographer. Growing up she always found an interest in the arts such as dance, music, photography and videography. As part of the leadership team, Norma hopes to use and develop her videography and photography skills with the help of her film and studio art classes. She is excited to work with such an amazing group to help lead this year’s Pegasus Film Festival.
Isla McKenna
Assistant Producer
Isla McKenna is a freshman at the Hockaday School. Although fairly new to filmmaking, she is excited to learn more about it and the community. Isla loves to express her creativity and love for humor in her films and writing. She also enjoys reading poetry and romance novels, baking up cakes, and doing sports and fitness. Isla is very excited to help lead the festival this year and help build community!
